One of the best vietnamese restaurant in Geneva.
The restaurant is neat, warm and cozy (thankfully they have standing fans inside, otherwise reservation is recommended for outside tables). Inside the restaurant you can find tables and chairs and windows made with authentic wood, brick, and bamboo materials. Lots of photography of 18th century Vietnamese landscape and people. It makes you feel exotic but a bit luxury in the same time, a little bit of the french Indochina colonial era. The plate, cup and tea pot and bowl are Bat Trang renowned pottery, imported directly from Vietnam. Accompanied by bronze cutleries and nice handmade long chopsticks, it assembles harmoniously with the restaurant style and decor. I am impressed so far. My wife and I got warmly welcomed and seated to a nice spot inside the restaurant. We ordered "goi cuon" ("cold roll" in english or "rouleaux d'été" in french) for starter. They with pork, shrimp and mixed vegetable, coming with a nice nothern style sauce "tương". It was excellent and nicely put in plate with a little pink orchid flower. They seem to have pink orchid flowers as signature in here as you can see on drink glass, other plates too. Nice artistic touch. For main course, we had "Bò cuốn lá lốt" with plain rice, "Bún thịt nướng". My wife and I like to share dishes so they conveniently put the plates on candle heaters in the middle of our table. They read our minds. Awesome. Both dishes are good, in my own opinion, but it was cooked with southern vietnamese taste. After the main course, we wanted to skip dessert. The waiter came and kindly asked if we were pleased with the meal. I asked for the bill. He cleared the table and soon after, came back with the bill, and to our surprise, a plate with half of a mango freshly cut and he said "this is on the house" with 2 set of little bronze cuterly set. The mango is sweet and to our liking. We really appreciated the gesture.

Read moreThis restaurant feels very authentic, but on the finer side of vietnamese dining. Centrally located and close to other bars for pre/post drinks. The service was very friendly. I ordered summer rolls (mix of pork and prawn) and the Pho Bo. The summer rolls were tasty but the pork was a bit tough, the satay sauce was very tasty. The Pho Bo was delicious, and some of the best I've had recently. The pho is a very large portion of soup. I'd recommend and...
