Rarely does one stumble upon culinary perfection that truly encapsulates the essence of a culture's cuisine, but this Chinese restaurant in Geneva has achieved just that. From the moment we entered, we knew we were in for an unparalleled dining experience, one that I enthusiastically rate 10 out of 10.
It's been an age since I've savored Chinese food imbued with such authenticity and robust flavors. Each dish, a harmonious symphony of taste and texture, left us thoroughly delighted. The Hot and Sour Soup was an impeccable balance of spicy and tangy notes, while the Sweet and Sour Chicken was a revelatory blend of sweetness with a delectable tang, setting the bar exceptionally high.
The dry szechuan Beef dish we ordered was nothing short of a masterpiece—tender, rich, and elevated with the right amount of heat. Beef with Mushroom didn't fall short either, with its spicy kick enlivening the umami flavors. The Mixed Fried Rice was a treasure trove of ingredients, each grain of rice perfectly coated and seasoned. The Shrimp Dumplings? Exquisite! And the Vegetable spring Roll was a verdant, crispy delight.
But the culinary journey didn't end there. The Banana Split dessert, garnished with decadently smooth ice cream, was an indulgent conclusion to an already sublime meal.
Service matched the quality of the meal, with our waiter Julia taking center stage as an exemplary figure of hospitality—gracious, attentive, and always serving with a smile.
Cleanliness is next to godliness, and this place lived up to this adage—pristine and well-maintained, reassuring us of their high standards.
And, as if our satisfaction hadn't peaked, meeting the chef was the cherry on top. He was the epitome of humility and grace, warmly accepting our gratitude. They even catered with kind attentiveness to the little toddler in our party, encapsulating a family-friendly atmosphere that's hard to find.
For anyone venturing to Geneva, missing out on this restaurant would be a culinary injustice. It's a sanctuary of Chinese gastronomy, validated by the presence of Chinese patrons—always a sign of genuine fare.
The value? Unbeatable. For the quality, the quantity, and the brilliant service, every franc was well-spent. Swift service, astounding flavors, and welcoming ambiance—this place checks all the requisite boxes with panache.

Read moreStaff is pretty slow - you’ll have to make yourself noticed. The first dish that arrived was sweet and sour chicken. Unfortunately, the meat was pretty dry but with the sauce it was okay. After finishing up our first dish and waiting for our 2nd dish we found a fly in the newly served 2nd dish. No big deal, it can happen everywhere but when we told the waitress she came over tried getting the fly out of our food with a spoon while dragging it through more of the food right in front of us. I couldn’t believe my eyes! 😂 After the fly was removed she disappeared, so I had to wait for her to reappear and ask for their policy:“ Will the dish get deducted from the bill or will the kitchen recook it“ She didn’t know, which means she assumed that it was okay to serve us a dish with a fly for 30CHF. She went back to the „main“ waitress and this lady came back and asked my partner, in a pretty rude tone, what the problem was. I interpreted this as extremely disrespectful, since we haven’t made a scene, always remained calm and polite and just wanted the waitresses to take care of it. If a fly in a pricy dish is okay for the waitresses, I really wonder if and how this mentality translates to the kitchen. In the end, we got the dish remade but at this point I, honestly, was extremely disappointed with the restaurant. At least I have a funny story to tell about this dinner...
Read morePlace is tucked away in a cellar and from outside non-descrpit stairs lead down to the main restaurant. After walking by on several occasions decided to give it a try. Came into the main restaurant and was surprised to see a pleasantly decorated restaurant that was full of chinese people. All dishes on their tables looked excellent and authentic although I was not able to find all of them back on the menu (pictures would help for nincompoops like myself). The dish I did order was allright, I had a type of crispy beef with vegetables and sort of sweet/sour sauce. It wasnt bad but I have had better. The atmposphere was relaxed/pleasant. The service was ok, I ordered my coke with ice and did not receive any ice (a common issue in many restaurants in Switzerland) the second time asking I was presented with a large glass full of ice cubes. Prices were slightly above average but the place is close to the main railway station in the center of Geneva. I would come and eat here again and would recommend this for those who seek authentic...
