Cipriano Wine & Ham — Restaurant in Lausanne

We visited here this saturday after a couple months and it seems the entire management has changed.

We are long time patrons. Yesterday we visited your establishment and will never return, as well as warning our friends never to come. I have a serious intestinal inflammatory condition called Crohn's Disease. I cannot eat any food with oil on it, because it slows down the digestion and inflames my intestine. I do not expect them to understand this, but I don't expect them to shame or punish me for this either. I asked for my husbands and my meals to be without oil. We received the cipriano charcuterie and cheese plate with oil and when we sent it back, the chef yelled at the waitress. This is really unacceptable. Then my husband got his platter without oil, but without the fourth expensive meat and non of the nuts or garnitures. Their mistake and inability to listen is not our problem when we are paying very good money to eat here. Also, as if to punish for the next mistake of my salmon (anna grimaud salad?) salad being made first with balsamic vinaigrette, the chef left off the most expensive ingredient; the salmon eggs/caviar. Therefore, I paid 30 francs for a salad that was 3 pieces of low quality norwegian smoked salmon, 4 cherry tomatoes, and about a teaspoon of salmon eggs after I asked for them (and i can't even eat the greens). That is outrageous! I cannot believe you can run a successful business like this, and all you have to do is look at their google maps rating to see that it has dropped severely. Finally, their bathrooms were unacceptably filthy. The floors were dirty, the toilet is broken, and there is literally poop on the seats. I think this is a severe problem for...

I could honestly go on a rant on how amazing this place is! First the staff... very professional, they are five star! I really like how despite being packed and people queuing and getting impatient, the staff were calm, friendly, smiling, polite and so professional. They made you feel welcome and tried to find the best solution for you. I liked how the tasks were distributed between them and it was like a well coordinated dance. The food is just amazing and even if all the tables were taken, service was quick and done in such a smooth manner. As for their cocktails just the best in Lausanne. Well dosed, great diversity and presentation. The music went so well with the vibe and the people. Who ever is managing the place, a big bravo! The staff and environment has made it my favorite place and I have been recommending it to my customers and friends in both Geneva and Fribourg. I am looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend it for a pleasurable night...

Returned here recently for a Friday evening apero. The music was pleasant and energetic (moving onto a little more hectic as the night progressed.. not sure if right choice considering the lights were on and there's no dancing space). Quickly - This is a great place for quick snacks and cocktails with friends during the evening. I had here mainly sandwiches, or sharing sandwich / platters - both I as well as my friends were very satisfied. The food compositions are simply taste. Cocktails - all the one we've tried were highly satisfying. The place's central location and the nice interior makes it a perfect hang out spot before going out somewhere else in Lausanne' center. The only downside - once when I came back here for a tea on Sunday, it cost app. 5 chf - that's a little much. Still, this is a reliable - yet...
