Comfort food at its best. Dependable, great value for money, delicious crepes and long opening hours
I've been there more than a dozen times. One of the few places in Lausanne where you can have lunch after 14:30 (I've had lunch there at 15:00 and later, I believe you can order anything anytime). Also one of the few places with decent prices in a city that's been ranked the 5th most expensive in the World.
It gets quite crowded at Swiss lunchtime on week-ends 12:00-14:30, but turnover is usually quick. The terrace seating during summer is great.
Crepes are to die for, both savoury and sweet. My favourite is the tomme-oeuf-lard-coulis: local creamy tasty cheese (if similar to something, it would be to brie), egg, bacon and home-made tomato sauce on a black wheat crepe. Perfect for a blustery winter afternoon. They also have a killer big salad that makes a meal, and lighter crepe options.
It works for couples (though not super-romantic when crowded, too noisy then), small groups (4-5 people) and going solo. Give it a try, you won't be...

⚠️ A warning for Muslim: there is a lot of recipes with porc ( in any case you can skip the ham but we are sure that the same hand that touched ham will not touch your “no porc” crepes? ) ⚠️ A warning for vegans: crepes are made with eggs and as I said for Muslim there is a lot of animal products there.
Handmade lemonade is made with fresh lemons but is damaged by white sugar inside.
The resto has a lot of wood inside and the ancient luggage racks of old trains in Switzerland 🇨🇭 very nice to watch it.
The area is the old downtown of Lausanne with typical stone floor.
They do savoury and sweet crepes but don’t think to eat healthy there because the quantity of white sugar is incredible.
✅ On my side I really appreciate the buckwheat dough with goat cheese, salad, honey and nuts. Flowered taste.
Workers very gentle and friendly.
Budget a bit higher for a not...

The guy said they don’t have a place to sit outside and I can choose among the ones that are not reserved so I chose one and he asked me to move to another table where the reserve sign was and switched the sign between the two tables. So I didn’t get a good first impress that I am welcomed. I had to take the menus also myself. I was with 2 friends. We ordered a drink and a crepe each. I didn’t like the taste and combination of any of the three crepe and drinks. I ordered crepe of sarrasin and have tried them freshly made at home many times. I could tell the first ingredients were not super fresh/high quality. On the positive side the ambience was nice, and the food didn’t seem overpriced. But didn’t seem my...
