Eligo — Restaurant in Lausanne

Haute cuisine at a “reasonable" price, at least compared to similar class restaurants. Plus it has a casual feeling despite the outstanding dishes. They seem simple on paper but are definitely highly researched and composed with a variety of subtle flavours.

Everything is fresh, seasonal, original and cooked to perfection.

Service is fast, not intrusive and devoid of unnecessary ceremony yet very efficient; waiters make you feel at ease.

We were on a weeks holiday from London. Went on eveneing of 02/03/22 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Have no complaints. Service was perfect, friendly, professional. Food was excellent. My wife had the Paccheri which were perfectly al Dente, exactly how an Italian eats their pasta. We asked the manager to suggest a wine. He chose a Margaux for us, excellent pick. Exceptional restaurant, what a discovery and how could I have missed it for so many years. The decor is gorgeous, the staff is very, very friendly (you can really feel the presence of the owner) and the food is just amazing. We had the “game menu” which fully deserves a Michelin star yet comes at a very reasonable price. I will dream about those tagliatelle for weeks!
