Un Po' Di Più Trattoria — Restaurant in Lausanne

BAD SERVICE, BASIC FLAVOURS! Highly advertised with no apparent reason. The only thing we loved was the decoration of the restaurant and the terrace. When it comes to the food and service.... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! THEY FORGOT US! After 1hr we asked the waiter where was our first dish (which was just tomatoes with burrata). They realized they had forgotten us and served us our entrée after a few minutes... After that a normal professional would make sure that the rest of the ordered dishes would arrive on time...BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. After asking again when we will receive our main courses the manager came to inform us that the KITCHEN HAD CLOSED! He then offered us a cocktail as an apology...After a while we were informed that the cook agreed to stay a little longer and cook our dishes Ragù alla Genovese and Double Truffle. Happy we finally received them, completely disappointed when we tasted them..The Ragù which is the specialty of their chef (his grandmother's recipe) didn't have a single piece of lamb in it and the Truffle spaghetti totally lacked of taste. We were so enthusiastic about having dinner at this restaurant but we have never been that disappointed in our lives. Even despite the bad service experience, the dishes are really nothing special and they should not be advertised as a genuine Italian...

Stumbled upon this charming little Italian spot while hunting for a good pasta meal, and I’m so glad I did! The place is super cozy with a lovely interior and a cool concept. I’m not big on food chains or fancy restaurants, so this was a perfect find for me. Though I went in craving pasta, I ended up going for a pizza instead (although we really wanted to try their pizza of the day recommended by server but he came back to informed is was sold out 😫) — our pizza was served fresh out of the oven and absolutely delicious. It was a huge slice, but luckily I had my husband to share it with.

The service was top-notch, too. Even though we just walked in during lunch, the team was really friendly and accommodating. Shoutout to our server—didn’t catch his name, but we loved his vibe. He was awesome at recommending dishes and helping us navigate the menu, especially since some items were new to us. I almost ordered a shot of liquor when I was actually in the mood for a refreshing drink with a kick. Thankfully, our server noticed and suggested a lemonade mix that hit the spot. You know you’ve got a great server when they know just what you need before you...

I came and asked for a table with my two black friends, the guy at the entrance looked at me first and then proceeded to look at them and told me that they were fully booked. There were around 4 tables used at that time. It was 6:46 pm.

They putted us in the far back with all the plates and glasses in our back. We asked for a better table as we would eat drink and then leave around 8:30 pm.

He denied our request again. While leaving, I saw that on his screen the tables were not fully reserved. And to put gold on the top, some people came in and asked for a table which he accepted straight after and putted them in one that was far better than ours.

This is racism, I’m white and never obviously felt something like this, this is just outrageaous.
