Gastronomie Vierwaldstättersee — Restaurant in Lucerne

The female attendant on the cruise/ferry to Vitznau was so rude and had absolutely NO MANNERS whatsoever. Wanted to check with her if we could sit temporarily at a vacant table showing ‘Reserved’ politely since the ferry already sailed out, then literally shouted to my face before I even managed to open my mouth: ‘DON’T ASK ME, I’M NOT HERE!’.

Ruined our Christmas moods and worst experience in Europe so far. Didn’t come all the way from Australia for this.

We got seated later and ordered drinks. But please treat customers or people with basic manners, especially we do pay for your service. I don’t owe you money if someone else does, and I didn’t make u work during Christmas if it made u feel miserable.

That waitress with short dark hair and glasses, god bless u not to meet her. If she got to stay at the restaurant and that standard service is tolerable and acceptable here,trust me, I don’t think u could expect anything close to a good experience in this restaurant.

Ich hatte für den 31.5.2025 ein Frühstück bestellt Geburtstag, auf dem Schiff 1.Klasse. 9Uhr 38 abfahrt. Ich hatte die Reservierung telefonisch gemacht und zur genauen abklärung zweimal angerufen. Die Bestätigung kam per E-Mail. Als wir zum Schiff kamen, wusste niemand was davon und ich war sehr enttäuscht. Die Dame vom Personal, sagte gibt es hier und heute nicht. Da war ich sprachlos!! Sie sagte dann, es müsse abgeklärt werden. Ein Herr Imbach nahm sich dann unseren an und machte uns das Frühstück und entschuldigte sich für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Wenn Herr Imbach nicht so gut und toll reagiert hätte, wären wir vom Schiff gegangen. Er war zuvorkommend, sehr nett und wir bekamen ein Prosecco dazu. Er hat das Geburtstagsfrühstück für meinen Partner gerettet. Ein grosses Lob an Herr Imbach, Danke. Die Fünf Sterne gehen an Ihn. Die Reservierung am Telefon leider kein Stern.
