Prik — Restaurant in Lucerne

After reading excellent re reviews online, I went with my family to the place during my visit to Lucerne. Food was quite good. Service was incredibly bad, we were the first customers at the restaurant. Placed orders from the menu, not the fast/pre made menu. I noticed food being delivered to all but our table, after 40+ minutes of waiting at our table I enquired and the lady at the billing mentioned that we have ordered from menu and that will take time, over 45 minutes?? After that a small older Asian lady who was the only server brought white rice alone. We had ordered soups and noodles and curries. I asked her for plates and cutlery and water and she barked off at me saying she is busy. The food came out of order after another request politely for bowls and plates, the server had the audacity to yell at me again and just dropped off bowls, asked me to use the plates that the side items were served on as eating plates. We were 4 people and I had 2 plates. I understand that lunch hour was busy, but I was a paying customer requesting absolutely basic service when giving the restaurant business for over 100fr. To No water or drinks were ever offered. When I was.paying the check, I did mention my displeasure to the lady collecting my payment and she tried to justify that they were busy with other customers. Not sure if this service and hostile behavior was racism or just plain awful service.....anyway, glad I don't live here or will ever go there again. Consider yourself warned, if you are not white, be prepared for...

The food is always good there, but we were really disappointed with the service tonight. The waitress clearly had a hard time focusing. We wanted to order a duck salad but she said something about local people not liking this type of dish. We clearly said that we’d still want it and she went on taking our order and we assumed it was ok. 5 minutes later, we asked if we could pay right away because we were in a hurry. She just apologise for the drinks that she forgot to bring (which we didn’t even mention) and didn’t react at all at my request for paying. Near the end of our supper we asked about the duck salad that didn’t come and she said we never ordered it since we changed our mind. When we denied it she rudely turned away never to come back. The young lady who then came for the check clearly never used a card machine before. I advise the waitress to trying listening to the customers and not just...

I'm giving this restaurant 0 stars. Horrible experience having gone to this place. We were made to wait for 10 minutes to place a take away order... The whole attitude of the staff screamed "racist". They were attending and taking orders from other local folks etc except us. When waited patiently, to place our order for 30 minutes and they took orders of people who came into the restaurant after us but were seemingly unwilling to take our order. After having waited for 30 minutes, we enquired if they would take our order and the restaurant manager or owner just showed us the face of his palm gesturing us to wait since he was attending to another customer (who ofcourse was local and had entered the restaurant after us). We couldn't believe this whole experience... Will never return to this restaurant and recommend no tourist to ever step for into this place. (Racist...
