I loved the tibits restaurant in Lucerne soooo much. 😊🙏 I was welcomed kindly by the staff, who explained everything detailed with me how to choose between the several options the restaurant brunch offers (pay by weight or a fixed price: 49 CHF, a bit expensive, but you get to choose between such a biiiig variety of food at the buffet).
An endless variety of vegan and vegetarian options - sweet and savory. If you take the fixed price for the brunch, you also get a yummy juice and a hot drink, which you can choose freely. That was a really lovely deal.
I loved the waffle with a vegan vanilla and chocolate sauce, which you could put on top of it, yummy crunchy bread rolls with or without grains and also glutenfree options, the vegan sausages, vegan tofu scrambled egg, etc...... the endless vegetarian and vegan dream continues.
I loved it soooo so much here and recommend this restaurant to everyone, who wants to make their tummies, minds and souls happy. I had a super energy filled happy morning. Thank you lovely tibits...
Read moreTibits in Lucerne is an absolute gem and my favorite place to eat whenever I’m in the city. Conveniently located within the Lucerne train station, at the top floor, it offers a serene and inviting atmosphere. The buffet is a masterpiece, with over 40 freshly prepared vegetarian and vegan dishes. Every single dish is as tasty as the next; it’s truly an explosion of flavors!
What I love is the flexibility of the buffet-style setup – you can pick and choose exactly what you want, and everything is priced by weight. The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
Apart from enjoying a delicious meal on location, I always take an extra dish as a takeaway. It’s the perfect way to extend the Tibits experience and savor their incredible flavors later! :)
Tibits is a must-visit. It’s the perfect spot for a satisfying meal, and I can’t...
Read moreVegetarian cafe centrally located in the train station on the top floor.
High quality menus available to take away which lists everything you need to know, most importantly what is vegan! They also had free match boxes to take away.
They were playing light music, there was a nice ambience.
Food was very well labelled in both Swiss German and English.
There was lots of choice.
They also sell books, water bottles, bags, as well as supplying free tap water.
They mostly sell buffet items by weight however I bought mine from the counter; a seitan kebab sandwich and a lemon cake to take away. 11.60 francs (£8.74). The sandwich was absolutely delicious! The first time I’ve tried seitan, I can see why it’s so popular. Would definitely have it again! The cake was edible, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Perhaps the vegetarian desserts are better there was much more choice compared to the...
