PazO Bowl — Restaurant in Lucerne

Was looking for a nice ramen/poke place and thought the reviews for this one looked good, so decided to try. My girlfriend got a ramen bowl and I got one of their “special of the day” poke bowls. The ramen bowl was incredibly spicy without being advertised as such, and the poke bowl, although made with fresh ingredients, felt disjointed and lacked flavour. This could possibly be because of the rice - just plain jasmine rice with some soy sauce, was supposed to come with “lemon teriyaki” but didn’t taste this at all. Also, I found the staff to be unfriendly and dismissive. When I was ordering at the till it felt like they were doing me a favour even being there, no smiling or interaction. While we were there, there were also a bunch of younger women taking pictures with the restaurant’s sign and posting pictures, and seemed friends with the staff - made me wonder if maybe this is where the positive reviews are coming from. For the first time in my life I threw away an entire bowl of good rice with absolutely mediocre toppings. When ordering chicken, carrot stripes (!) and spring onions with rice I expected a well done hot meal, as the restaurant presents itself as japanese food stall. What I got instead was a shredded cold carrot salad with also cold spring onions and 4 sorry stripes of cold chicken, for which I paid 4.50 extra. The entire menu was roughly 20 bucks which is insane. I was so utterly disappointed. Again, this isn't a ethnic asian food stall, even tho it presents itself like that, it's a hawaiian poke bowl stall - which isn't meant in a negative way, just make sure that is what you are looking for! But if you want to eat good, warm, classic asian food, go somewhere else or pick the "ramen" instead.

Beautiful place tho, service is solid but nothing special, they do their job well and fast but the interaction is too short...

I always take the poke bowls and it is very tasty, that is why I am a regular customer but today i was very dissapointed with the service and hygiene.

Most poke bowl toppings are taken with a spoon except from the chicken which is taken by hand. The cashier took my order she was wearing gloves which is useless as she is not handling food. I paid cash and after to my dissatisfaction she started preaparing my food with the dirty gloves that she took my money with touching the chicken all over. When i mentioned it to cashier she just walked away. This is not just poor customer service but poor hygiene which can put a restaurant out of business.
