Funky Claude's Bar — Restaurant in Montreux

Came here with my Dad and siblings as somewhere to sit, relax and have a drink for a bit. We sat at the bar because we didn’t book, which we were fine with. However my Dad ordered just a single beer and it never came out. And I couldn’t order a drink at all because the waiter missed me the first time and then never came back, and there was no one tending the bar on our side the entire time we were there (over half an hour). After 30 minutes of waiting and no service we decided to leave. Only on the way out did the waiter finally notice us and he asked me to pay for the water that THEY offered us when Dad ordered the beer. We are tourists so we must have misunderstood that we are to pay for regular water, but it ended up being $17.50 CHF just for that. They tried to charge me for the beer that we never got as well. It was very disappointing and made our Christmas Eve a bit sad. A Jazz bar with no live jazz and not even playing jazz music. 👎

Terrible service. 15min just to order drinks in a place with only 4 tables occupied. They messed up my whiskey order by serving it over ice with a coke instead of neat. Then they just poured the now watered down whiskey into a glass and served it to me. Asked for our check immediately after finishing dinner and waited 20min to get it, had to ask several more times before they brought it over. Honestly, all the employees there looked like they hated everything about that place.
