Please take BIG NOTE of the reviews on TERRIBLE SERVICE. I did not read the reviews, and ended up with an expensive meal that I didn’t order. The waitress was rude and inattentive during our dinner.

I order 1 Fondue Klassisch and my family ordered 2 Fondue Bauerne with bacon the waitress made a mistake and gave me the little Fondue with bacon and the guys the big Klassisch with no meat, as soon as I realized I was eating bacon I told the waitress there was a mistake in my food, she sarcastically laughed and said “I need to get the chef glasses he did not read the order right” and she walked away to the kitchen.

The worst part was that I’m allergic to beacon and the waitress didn't seem to care.

When it was time to pay, she refused to correct the mistake . Tricked us into paying more for glasses of tap water NO bottle was offered by the waitress. We were charged for mineral water. The waitress didn’t adjust the price for not bringing the correct order of fondue. After a back and forth with the waitress she claimed it was the chef’s fault not hers and we still had to pay for fondue she didn’t give us. She agreed to deduct 5 chf like if she was doing me a big favor and she refused the chance the price of the mistake they made on 2 orders.

Money is not the issue or the problem but why would they overreact over a small sum?

The end result I wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend...

Fondue was ok but service was bad and atmosphere seemed stuffy. The worst part was that when it was time to pay, they tried to scam us into paying more for bottled water.

When ordering the water, both of us very clearly said tap water please. The waiter didn’t comment and brought us a glass each (no bottle). When my friend asked for more tap water at the end of the dinner, a different waiter said we had mineral water and there was a back and forth on this. The end result was that she passive aggressively didn’t bring us any water for 5+ min, so we decided to just go and pay. Then on our bill there was 9+ chf for mineral water. After another back and forth on this, where they again claimed we had ordered mineral water and they don’t usually serve tap water, they agreed to let us pay for the tap water only, but they made it sound as if they are doing a big favor for us. Also, they charged us 2 chf per person for the 2-3 dl of tap water we had each consumed (at the end of the dinner they had refused to refill our glasses).

In terms of money it’s not a big deal, but why would you gaslight your guests over such a small sum? Definitely did not leave a nice feeling...

Dinner on Monday 4.11.24 I’m sorry for this low rate, because despite the food and ambience was nice, I’m pretty disappointed that my experience wasn’t good because the way how the waitress made me feel! She was very cheeky and rude, almost rolling her eyes, because I told her I was into a very strict diet of lower carbs (I’m into profesional sports) so I kindly asked her which vegetables were available as a side, seems she felt bothered by my questions, and her answers were very rude and short. As I didn’t pay attention to the menu, I asked her to let my steak medium rare which she immediately interrupted me, very grumpy that was to be made in stone and do it myself. The tone of voice and the manners were not the correct ones. I felt very uncomfortable, seemed was personal. I have tried many steak houses and I can tell the food good quality/ price and tasty. Is a pity they hire not friendly or...
