A terrible experience that ruined our evening. The staff was unwelcoming, hospitality was nowhere. In my 15 years in Switzerland, I’ve never encountered such rude and greedy service—either from the owner or wrongly hired staff.

After work, we visited here on an assignment from a well-known Swiss credit card company to test our cards and enjoy a relaxing evening. As we entered, my colleague asked for a coffee and something warm to take away. A waitress dismissed us, saying they don’t do takeaways, embarrassing us in front of other guests. Ok, understood!

Despite of unfriendly behavior we gave a second thought we eat small portion of Raclette here, when we tried to settle down in a tight corner seat for two, a waiter forced us to order a full meal with drinks, refusing a smaller order. Even after we explained our purpose, he rudely insisted that if we weren’t dining, he’d give our seats to other guests happily— humiliating publicly.

We left without having anything. Such disgraceful behavior. No respect for Guests. I will never recommend this Stube!...

A very neat restaurant offering authentic, classic Swiss raclette without stuff you won't need. The have a 40chf basically all-you-can-eat raclette which includes potatoes, cornichons, pickled mini onions, pickled mini corn and bread and some basic spices. I definitely recommend taking this! They refill everything once it is empty! The waitress told us the maximum on ever managed to eat was 17 plates of raclette cheese. That's pretty hard to imagine but give it a try yourself :) The restaurant is pretty small but cute and you should definitely make a reservation before. The raclette was delicious! The service is very nice and they also speak English well. The restaurant is not located in the "main restaurant street" but one more street upwards which is nice because it's not super busy there.

I would say this is a great restaurant for enjoying authentic Swiss raclette. We had a great time there and it's...

We wanted to try traditional fondue while.in Zurich so we went by the restaurant earlier in the day to make a reservation for late afternoon. We happened to meet one of the Staff as she was arriving and she made the reservation for us. Highly recommend making a reservation as it is a very small restaurant and there isn't space to sit and wait for a table. The Staff were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They explained how the fondue menu worked and we were a bit confused by it! We ordered the half-and-half with bread & potatoes, and 2 sides of pears & pineapples, and baby pickled onions & baby pickles. The fondue was delicious and had a great flavor and taste but although we enjoyed the experience, it's not something we would rush to try again. It is also extremely expensive $$$$ so be prepared should you want to try this...

Raclette Stube was recommended to us by some colleagues who live in Zurich. We knew it was touristy to find Fondue in the middle of summer but when that’s the only time you’re in Switzerland you have to try it! This restaurant had the cutest little feel to it like an old German house. It was very very hot inside which was literally our only complaint. With all the hot cheese bubbling around you that surely doesn’t help you get cool. But, despite the heat, the fondue itself was amazing. Exactly what we wanted and hoped it would be. The bread and potatoes that accompanied it were plentiful. There were 4 of us and we made a really good dent in the fondue but we were no where near finishing it. We really enjoyed the experience at this little fondue centric eatery.
