Summary and price-performance ratio 9/10 Sunday evening in May. Reservation for two persons in the garden of the restaurant (reservation highly recommended). Fresh ingredients prepared with knowledge. The portions are such that you can also enjoy a dessert. Discreet friendly service without phony show-off l'Italianita Restaurant products 8/10 • The website is up-to-date and the menu cards (lunch, dinner) are available • Bread, oil and salt is offered. The bread was heated-up and hence a little doughy • We ordered: mineral water w/o gas, carpaccio di finoccio, Caprese, Puntarelle alla Romona, Verdure al forno and Risotto. For dessert we choose Frutta fresca, depending on the season. We enjoyed the fresh strawberries with honey along with a cup of espressso very much even so some strawberries were partially overripe • In general, the products used are of a very good quality and prepared with knowledge and passion Restaurant Facilities | 9/10 • The garden chairs are comfortable and there is ample space between the tables to grant privacy. The mature trees contribute to the great atmosphere • The restrooms are clean and equipped with contemporary sanitary facilities • A secure coat rack is not available • To find parking space in the area is a challenge. I used to love this place, its garden, local cheeses and charcuterie as well as local speciality Italian foods… but the quality of the staff and food has decreased beyond belief. Our bone marrow had bone splinters in it. We advised staff several times. They solution was to take 20% of the price (rather than not charge). They got the second course wrong (beef instead of local pork neck). In addition, the meat seemed like it made it directly from the fridge to the grill (unevenly grilled). Again, the solution was discount prices on the the original beef (we never ordered) price. Our constructive feedback was neither well received nor handled well on the bill. I’ll keep the memories of when it was good, but won’t return.

Nice Italian. This restaurant is located around 10mins away from the train station. The restaurant has lots of space for customers, despite the busy night there should still be space for you to be seated. The staff that served me and my family was nice. There wasn’t many English menus available when I arrived unfortunately. The menu was almost completely written in Italian despite being an “English” menu. Not too good for English speaking tourists. The prices of the food were quite expensive which is something that it usual in Switzerland. The food was good, not the best Italian I have eaten but good. The linguine with prawns was my favourite from what I had ordered, the fried beach crabs were nice too. Would I come back...
