The food is good but the experience today makes me never come back again. They were kinda unhappy and discussed about my order of 2 spring rolls.

I was already quite full with a bowl of noodle but still wanted to have something else. I saw on the menu on the big board that 3 CHF for one spring roll so I ordered 2, which was enough for me. I also asked him to double-check how he sold it like piece by piece or what else. He said ok with 2 but later in the kitchen they kinda complained, mentioned and emphasized something like 4 spring rolls and 2 spring rolls. (I stayed in the table right next to the kitchen and I know Vietnamese ofc). Now I realize that in a different menu, they sell them by a plate of 4 (16CHF), not just 2 like I did. They should explain to me that they serve spring rolls like that and also once they already accept order, they should not talk about it behind customers' back. I hope it's just a misunderstanding between us, hopefully because we speak different dialects :) but still, I don't feel...

Food: I don't know much about vietnamese food, but I know what I like. It was very tasty, perfectly made rice and served in an esthetic way. I loved the pickled carrots added to the duck with rice and vegetables. I also asked the nice man who was serving us to make it spicy, but european spicy. It was perfectly matched. The duck was very aromatic and crunchy. Also - personal recommendation - try the desserts. Seriously.

Menu: amount of offered dishes is limited which is very good - this way everything is fresh and it usually speaks good of a restaurant.

Restaurant and service: Everything very clean, the service was perfect and the nice man who took care of us was very helpful. They really know what they are doing :)

Prices: The food prices is very affordable and you get high quality for a reasonable price.

Will...

The taste was quite good, but the portions clearly showed how stingy (and frankly cheap) the owner is. The wife served the food while the husband handled catering — the wife was nice but the husband was absolutely terrible (minus stars). His German was poor, and his attitude was simply rude!!!!!

The menu stated that a piece of cake cost 2 CHF, but at the end they tried to charge me 7 CHF. When I pointed it out, he claimed I had “read it wrong” — even though it was their own handwriting that was nearly illegible.

Overall cleanliness was far from optimal. The price for one plate of food plus that strange piece of cake came to 30 CHF… honestly? Not worth it at all. I will not go back, and I don’t recommend visiting. There are many far nicer places in Zurich with better quality and...

Delicious Vietnamese food. The Pho Bo and summer rolls with shrimp were excellent, and the Bun Bo Hue (with beef) was good but a bit less great. The place is nice but with no frills. The staff was friendly but extremely extremely slow. Prices are fair (around 30-40 CHF per person). There are not so many places to sit inside + a few outside, so at points you may have to wait. Overall, a good option but terribly slow service (which is what brings it to me from 4 to just 3 stars).

Love this little Vietnamese family restaurant close from Stauffacher tram station. It’s simple and small, not very sophisticated looking, but the food is authentic, full of flavors and delicious, served by the owner, who’s very dedicated to making this place a welcoming one. I always go for a Bún riêu and summer rolls, they’re among the best I found in Zurich so far. The food is served pretty quickly, making it a convenient place for a quick lunch.
