Kennedy's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Zurich

After arriving into Zurich and looking for somewhere to enjoy a late lunch, we came across Kennedy's Irish Bar. Tucked away not far from the city centre, it offered a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that seemed just right. When we arrived around 3pm, it was very quiet, though that was to be expected at that time of day.

We ordered drinks and food directly at the bar where the server was helpful and friendly. Our drinks were served promptly and the food followed not long after. The dishes were enjoyable and certainly did the job, offering a satisfying and easy-going meal. As we sat and relaxed, we noticed the place gradually starting to fill up. By 5pm, it had become quite busy but still maintained a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.

WARNING, DO NOT EAT HERE* Starting out in this bar for my birthday weekend In Zurich, lining the stomach with a snack Was a good idea. We ordered 12 chicken wings between 4 lads to pick at. After Few flat pints and a snack inside us it was time to move on. Trying out a few new bars and making plans for the event we had flown over to attend @ x-tra. Come 10 pm a friend has a mini turn, saying he doesn’t feel right, lads banter it was passed off as lightweight chat and We returned to our Airbnb. Come 11pm all 4 of us are throwing up in bins, toilets and sinks. Unavailable to attend the event due to illness and spending all today competing for the toilet, our weekend Has been completely ruined, * TO THE COST OF AROUND £1500. * What must go on in this in the kitchen to not be able to safely serve chicken wings is making me feel Even worse than I already do.

Been coming here for some years now, to watch the games on a Sunday and have lunch or just for drinks. Great pub, cozy, you can practically see the screens from anywhere, solid beer selection, and most of all friendly and attentive staff who does their best to accommodate you whether in finding a seat when it’s crowded or even opening the terrasse when there are no more places inside…. Except for that new young guy… arrogant, disrespectful, and for sure in the wrong place… I am not sure he should even work in hospitality or gastronomy! For whoever calls the shots at Kennedy’s, get rid of him before he ruins your place, I’ve seen him how he acts with other guests couple of times and most recently with me… I still gave a 5 stars review because I won’t let the actions of a single person affect the other hardworking team and years of hard work.
