Più — Restaurant in Zurich

I wanted to provide feedback on our recent visit to your restaurant on June 24th. Unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience for us.

The service we received was incredibly slow, despite there being few customers present. It was disheartening to have to constantly ask for everything, which created a frustrating dining experience. Moreover, the pizza with truffle that we ordered was disappointingly wet, and the dough lacked the desired crispiness.

After having the pizza, we expressed our dissatisfaction to the service staff and requested to cancel the risotto. However, our request was denied, and the risotto was brought to our table despite our objection. This further added to our disappointment.

We have previously dined at the Piu restaurant in Bern and had a delightful experience there, which makes the contrast in quality even more disheartening. Regrettably, based on our experience in Zurich, we will not be returning to your restaurant in the future, nor can we recommend it to others.

In addition, I intend to share my experience and leave a review on various social media platforms to provide an honest account of our visit.

I came back and we had pizzas. The service was okay but the pizzas were average (for Zürich, which means there's still pretty decent). My pizza especially had a lot of fresh ingredients (tomatoes, ham, mozzarella) but they were too cold and I think my pizza waited for too long outside of the oven. Even a good pizza is now enjoyable when cold.

My advice is to come here when it's not too busy otherwise the quality degrades.

Excellent food.

We had a carpaccio for starter, super nicely dressed and very tasty. We then had different pasta recipes, which were both very good even if one was not as good looking, unfortunately.

The kid's menu is the most balanced I've seen: in most restaurants you just get chicken nuggets and fries. At Più this is a three course menu with cherry tomatoes with very good mozzarella as a starter, pastas and then a scoop of ice scream. My kid loved it.

We had one glass one wine each, which were both very good. And for once it's not 1 dl (which I find very small for a glass of wine), it's closer to 12. Big plus!

The service was good. Our waitress was a bit inexperienced I think but the manager was here to catch up, so really food...

Nice place, centrally located near Zurich HB main railway station. Situated in the old former post office, they hint at the telecoms history by having a wall of antique vintage telephones. The food presentation is nice and starter portions are large. My starter was served with the wrong sauce. As it was a dip in a separate bowl it was easily rectified. I had a pizza of which I found the center too wet (almost soggy). Only the outer edge was still crispy. Apparently this is an issue that has been observed by other reviewers, I suppose thats my fault for not having checked as I would most probably have chosen another dish. The other dishes ordered by my accompanying diners were described as good. The presentation was good and their dishes looked nice and appetizing. There is an amicable atmosphere in this place and it thrives due to its perfect location. Some of the tables near the windows (with sofa seating) are a bit awkward because the legs are in the way of a comfortable seating/dining position but this is a minor issue.
