We had a satisfying lunch at Mankewu Taiwanese Style Ramen (滿客屋台式拉麵) but because they had signs that mentioned phototaking are not allowed, no photos were taken this time. We had the Miso Char Siu Ramen (170NT), Clear Broth Char Siu Ramen (170NT), vegetables (60 NT), additional pork chop (90NT) and an onsen egg (35NT). A can of Taiwan beer (35NT) completed the meal. In terms of taste, the ramen was ok but the portion for the char siu was pretty generous. Enjoyed the onsen egg with its silky texture, balanced with the light soy sauce and spring onion. Vegetables had that homely taste, lightly seasoned and had a light crunch to it. I recommend the spring egg if you're into runny egg. The spice (seasoning) on top makes the taste acceptable and the soy complements it. I like my eggs well done (except for sunny side up) but this is good enough. Pork bone broth is good, I suggest you get the shoyu because it's more flavorful than the noodle soup that came with the fried Porkchop ramen. Fried pork chop tasted good but it was oily. I didn't really like the noodle itself because it was fat but then again, most noodle soup in Taiwan are like this--it's just not my type. I prefer the...

The kimchi ramen was not for me. Didn't like the flavour so it was so so. The cold tofu and the onsen egg was very good. Overall, a good experience. I enjoyed the food. Altho the restaurant space was quite limited but we sat outside cos we had a big grp. Luckily it was sucha cool weather in springtime, so...
