we went there in one evening on week of 26th Nov. 4 of us ordered 4 set manus. strange things during the whole meals: the so called chef serving meals by himself. there are another 3 tables. not saying bad service, but chef serving, not in kitchen. he said service is more important than food. we are about to prove this point chef bragged about some politicians , celebrities visited. in my experience, this is unconfident talking we ordered a bottle of cote du Rhone from the wine list. chef didnt open the bottle in front of us and left the bottle at another empty table behind a column. the place called itself French restaurant, but serves very strange starters, like chicken gizzard. i tried and its very gamy. chef is too busy to serve and didnt taste the food. oh the soup, tomato soup, the texture is odd. and bit bubbling. chef replied its all right because it prepared yesterday. the Lamb Knee was all right, but meat, is gamy again, where attached to the bone. the grouper is a big problem, too raw. chef didnt apologize, but remove the dish and ask the guy in the kitchen to re cook, of course too well done. we talked, complained. and suggested what the restaurant shall change, quietly. guessed he overheard. since then he also quiet to our table. if you ever see this or some one close to you can bring this to you. please make change and remove non French courses off the menu. this is a NO...
Read moreAn excellent classical French restaurant that hits the right balance between comfort and sophistication. Simple but delicate dishes, fit for a king, meticulously prepared from the best ingredients. The bass is exquisite, but you can't really make a wrong choice for main dish. Thank you chef for a wonderful meal and I look forward to trying another one of the your signature...
