The raw beef was served with plenty of finely sliced scallions and a delightfully runny egg but the beef was still frozen, quite tough to chew, and included several very fatty slices. Also the pork-wrapped pepper/mushroom skewers were bland and flavorless and not enjoyable. The onion salad was fantastic and so was the mountain yam but the chicken soft bones were again flavorless and uninteresting. Compared with other Japanese grill places in Taichung, this shop is not among the better ones yet. Hopefully they can improve the quality and execution of the dishes, and I may try them again...
