A very authentic and traditional Shanghainese restaurant serving traditional and delicious Shanghainese cuisine. A friend recommended this restaurant when I asked for a good Shanghainese restaurant in Taichung. Definitely satisfied I got, as soon as I stepped into the restaurant to notice its clientele of mostly 外省人/descendants of 外省人. I.e. meaning that this restaurant is definitely authentic! It was well proven with the dishes I ordered/tasted - absolutely authentic and delicious!!! I will certainly visit again if I even come to...

I've been here more than ten times and love it. They renovated recently which looks great, but they changed their menu a bit as well... Everything seems good (as usual) except the 獅子頭 are not as good as before... Otherwise good and I'll still return (But hope they change the Lion Head Meatballs back to...

Sure the food is good but when I went 1. First floor super loud and noisy, waiters made no move to stop until we practically forced them. 2. Illegal indoor smoking that they didn’t stop until we asked either......

A friend recommended this restaurant when I asked for a good Shanghainese restaurant in Taichung. It was well proven with the dishes I ordered/tasted - absolutely authentic and delicious!!! I will certainly visit again if I even come to Taichung again! =)

這家也是一直耳聞和聽朋友提起的老店,當然中間可能有許多故事旁人不清楚,但做為一個愛吃人士,故事雖有興趣,最終還是得由好吃的食物來吸引人潮和回客!去年快年底時,朋友訂了這家,想當然爾一定要跟啊!不然一個人根本無法吃這種餐廳型的! 手骨粗的朋友照慣例點了滿滿一桌的菜!連店員都嚇到以為是一堆人要吃,結果只有三個人><!反正我也習慣了只能摸摸口袋...暗暗的哭泣! 東坡肉當然一定要配刈包的啦!整個油油亮亮的超吸引人,軟爛卻不會過份油膩感相當好吃!不知不覺吃完一組刈包最後又追加一組,實在太好吃了,連挑食的朋友都吃二份! 上海菜飯這個是江浙菜館必點的一道,剛上桌就傳來陣陣清香,整個吃的到鍋氣和菜混合出的美味,個人很喜歡有點類似品虹橋(目前最愛菜飯二家) 蔥燒鯽魚不用說也是江浙菜系必點功夫菜,屬冷盤!入味到連魚骨都軟化可以直接全部吃的,還帶有大量的魚蛋,增加不少口感! 紅豆鍋餅雖是甜食,但上來時朋友忍不住竟然吃了好幾片,一直稱讚又香又好吃!實在很難得他會一次吃好幾片 砂鍋雞不得不特別介紹一下,看那燉到滿滿膠質的湯頭就覺得很好吃,而且我們點的是半隻,整個撈起來的料讓人驚艷,以為是一整隻雞,雞肉軟嫩入味,微酸超好喝!超大一鍋整個CP值爆表! 清蒸臭豆腐是闆娘特別介紹招待的,不同其它家,走的是很清爽的味道,豆腐本身不錯相當Q彈綿密,可惜我們這些重口味的,稍稍不習慣! 在因緣際會下稍和老闆娘聊了一下!她是幾年前被請回來接手然後開始努力經營改變店裡裝潢雖不是很豪華,卻是相當乾淨舒服!真的很不容易!也恭喜老闆娘今年又榮獲米其林必比登!

We came for mother’day dinner. Unfortunately we cannot choose the dishes but the Mother’s Day special set menu. It turns out a bit way too much meat dishes for us. Recommend stinky tofu and 小籠包。
