I really want to like Rizy. It has a lot of positive things going for it. The space is beautiful, simultaneously retro and modern, with plush furnishings and an industrial-chic ceiling. Their bartenders and servers are all very attentive and friendly. In terms of classic cocktails, they lack a number of common spirits, such as mezcal, but when they have the ingredients on hand, their cocktails are very well executed. I really enjoyed their Penicillin. Their signature cocktails are a good indication of the clientele they are aiming towards: sweet, liqueur and tea based drinks. Delicious, not overly heavy, and suitable for those who want something easy to drink. Unfortunately, their photos of food are a bit misleading; almost all of them are outdated, from eight months ago, and so when I ordered their panipuri, I was presented with something completely different than what is advertised on their Google Maps. Not only was the filling presented beside the shells, forcing the customer to manually construct their own appetizer by poking holes in the panipuri shells and scooping in the filling, but it is apparent that the filling is not the same as the photos. In the photos, there seems to be a creamy sauce, maybe a curry, whereas the chicken filling in my appetiser was essentially stir-fried chicken with what tasted like taco seasoning. Certainly cumin-based. I would have loved to order some of the other dishes on their Google Maps page, such as the Peri-peri chicken skewers, but these have been phased out. Currently, their offerings are pizzas, a burger, a camembert cheese with fig jam that looks appetising in the photos (but then again, so did the panipuri, but their photos did not reflect the reality), coldcuts, and fries. I wish Rizy the best of luck and hope they can step it up. My speculation is that their previous menu was either too much effort or wasn't cost-effective, so they substituted ingredients and cut items as needed.
