THIS IS NOT A VEGAN RESTAURANT!! I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CLAIM TO BE VEGAN, BUT IT IS NOT! BE. AWARE.

Don't come here if you want authentic Italian food. I just spent over 900 bucks on dinner for two and i regretted it so much. The risotto was seasoned nicely with mushroom and truffle, but the rice was soft and bland as porridge. I asked for some shredded cheese in my risotto to add a bit of taste, only to be told that because they didn't charge much for their food so they were unwilling to give ANY extra cheese. The pizza was about 9, 10 inches and cost 340, while the risotto cost 300. The price is above average Italian restaurants here in Taichung so what they say didn't much any sense. I then asked for some parmesan and the owner said they didn't offer any either.

I can easily give you a list of alternatives rice that isn't soft as porridge? Go to Bite to eat. Want extra shredded cheese? Go to Bellini nearly. Want pizzeria who doesn't put sweet corn you your pizza and charges you 340? Go to pizza rock. They charge less and with ubereats it can even be delivered to your house.

I have attached a photo of the pizza we got. That's all the cheese they were willing to give. Seriously. It's not like I was asking for a whole bottle. And if they had cooked their food properly I wouldn't even be asking for it.

The only one star is given to the younger, nice...

I'm sure the food is great, but we never even made it to the restaurant due to poor service.

I called to make a reservation for 10 people for lunch, for a date over a week in advance. After she collected all my contact information, the staff informed me that since we have such a big party, we need to review the menu and order our meals 2-3 days in advance. I explained to her that we have elderly people in our group and they don't use smart phones. It will be hard to get them to review the menu online and order their meals ahead of time. The staff member was polite but unwilling to change the rule.

I cancelled the reservation.

Sun Bento Boss, if you're reading this, I suggest you to train your staff to meet the needs of the customer instead of putting the burden on us. If you get busy at lunch time you should develop workflows to deal with this instead of inconveniencing your customers.

Maybe one day we will eat here, but...

Family had a reservation for this place for New Years and oddly they asked us to pre-order our meals 2 days in advance. Super weird. Did that and despite them knowing our order and having plenty of time to prepare they still couldn’t get the food out in the correct order or at the same time. Dine in drinks were served in plastic takeaway cups which is just bizarre. The food wasn’t awful but the noodle dishes used pasta - sorry but spaghetti and fettuccine are not noodles. They had also taken creative license with the Indian naan and curry with disappointing results. Price was reasonable but I wouldn’t be...
