看到網路上很多人推薦這家新開的甜點店,所以趁著連續假期回台南,就特地去造訪一下,品嚐一下千森製菓的甜點。

這裡的前身也是一家餐飲店,也是種滿了植栽,所以第一次經過的時候,我沒有注意到其實已經換了千森製菓,又繞了一圈,才發現原來剛剛沒找錯。

另外頭的裝潢,除了招牌是直式的千森二字呈現外,中間那行Pâtissier是法文烘焙的意思,現在多數時候泛指提供法式甜點的店或法式甜點,包含我們所熟知的馬卡龍、可麗露、費南雪、瑪德蓮、蒙布朗、歌劇院、千層酥(又稱拿破崙蛋糕)、巴斯克蛋糕、布列塔尼酥餅,都算是Pâtissier。

走近店內的甜點櫃一看,大多數是台灣人所熟悉的千層蛋糕,千森製菓有提供蠻多種口味可以選擇,像芒果蜜柑就是季節限定。但我選了店內限定的法式抹茶千層酥,為了拍照好看,所以選了野莓乳酪千層蛋糕,飲料則選了濃抹茶拿鐵。

稍稍讓我驚訝的是,店員竟然是用手拿取蛋糕櫃裡面的蛋糕,沒有帶手套或者是用夾子夾,先不管店員的手是否已經完全的消毒過,但對於看到的消費者而言,是衛生上的感官,會比較建議店家帶手套拿或用夾子夾取蛋糕,這樣消費者看了也會比較安心。另外一個讓我驚訝的是,原來所謂的店內限定,是現點現做的甜點,於是我把店員製作甜點的過程錄了下來,真的蠻用心的,讓我很期待甜點跟飲料。

二樓的空間跟一樓的氛圍稍微不一樣,有塌塌米、也有沙發區、也有座椅區,整體感覺比較隨性一點,空間少了一點完整的主題性,不像1樓就是有一種日式復古洋菓子店的味道,有點小可惜。

端上二樓拍完美照之後,因為前面已經先去另外一家咖啡店品嚐了咖啡和甜點,所以來到千森製菓戰鬥力就沒有那麼強,我就慢慢品嚐,法式抹茶千層酥,因為是現作的酥餅很脆很好吃,不過比正統的千層酥來得後一些,抹茶夾心沒有刻意調製的很甜,吃的出來抹茶帶一點點苦澀的味道,整體吃起來很爽口,不會甜膩,也不會覺得油膩。

野莓乳酪千層蛋糕,吃起來當然比某家美式連鎖咖啡店的千層蛋糕好吃很多,但算不上是很道地的法式口味,不怎麼甜,正統的法式甜點都很甜,相信多數的台灣人都吃不了那麼甜。蛋糕上裝飾的新鮮藍莓挑選的蠻大顆的,整體算是OK的。

我原本是想點聖多諾黑泡芙塔,畢竟這是很道地的法式甜點,也比較少店家提供這款甜點,只好下次有機會再回台南時,再去品嚐。至於現在非常流行的巴斯克蛋糕,不同的店家各有春秋,不過前一家我剛好就吃了巴斯克蛋糕,所以到了千森製菓,我就沒有再點巴斯克蛋糕,也把它列入下次品嚐的名單當中。

整體而言,千森製菓甜點和飲料都算不錯,扣除用手拿甜點這個印象不好之外,店內是採自助式取餐,提供的刀叉湯匙不算特別,紙巾竟然是很薄的那一種,這個小細節就又讓人感覺廉價了一點點。兩樣甜點加一杯抹茶飲料總共NTD620,不算太便宜,但除了現點現做的甜點之外,其他都是自助式,雖然很有台南慢活的自在氛圍,但如果能夠幫客人送餐,甚至在送餐的當下也為客人稍微解說一下甜點的一些小細節,會令消費者感覺整個質感提升很多。

A clean dessert shop with few space inside, only five counter seat and a large table at the back and five tables on the second floor. The minimum consumption is NT 200 for each person. We ordered its special dessert which is made by Strawberry and matcha, called 草莓爽爽. Although I am not a big fan of matcha, it tasted good with Strawberry 🍓, it’s not that bitter and strong. 元宵後的周四,所以沒預位下還是能順利入座。室內空間很寬敞、乾淨,服務員招待也很棒。不難發現,在偌大空間只有桌面三三兩兩。

回到餐飲部份,因為剛吃完午餐所以點了低消飲料一杯冰抹茶拿鐵和抹茶千層蛋糕。說到抹茶蛋糕,很多饕客可能就會和Lady M做比較。

我只能說各花入各眼,千森的種挺多,飲料方面也很全面的配合了蛋糕口味和cafe要具備的搭配。加上不太甜,相對下反而更能俘絡我的票選。除了千層蛋糕,還有小塔、巴斯克蛋糕提供另外選擇。

I didn’t had much difficulty getting a seat, despite being a Thursday right after Lantern Festival. Spacious interior contrast with the number of tables available.

Service crew did great explaining the menu and house rules, while ushering me to the allocated bar table seat.

Back to my order, I had a matcha latte coupled with a slice of their signature matcha Mille-Feuille. While foodies may compare with the likes of Lady M’s, the store offers a wider range of pastry which includes mini tarts and assorted bisque cakes.

The drinks menu complements well with the dessert choices and I must admit that I was bought over by the pastries here. It isn’t as sweet as the usuals and definitely goes well on...

The drinks menu complements well with the dessert choices and I must admit that I was bought over by the pastries here. It isn’t as sweet as the usuals and definitely goes well on my taste buds!
