Ordered the salmon roe with shrimp pasta. FOUR out of 5 shrimps still had the digestive tracts still in them. The appalling thing was that it's not like they didn't know that the shrimps needed to be deveined, because all the backs of the shrimps were sliced open exposing the digestive tracts, which was WONDERFUL plating btw having to see the intestines first thing. So they must have known that this had to be done, they just didn't complete the job.
The pasta was undercooked trying to pass off as al dente. It was definitely pasty/chalky inside. The sauce was watery and forgettable. All in all just a subpar restaurant trying to pass off as upscale, preying on the ignorance of the locals who are easily impressed by the decor and the fact that it's in a hotel. The Caesar salad and salmon salad are smaller then I expected as well and they just taste okay. Nothing special. Very boring. The tiramisu is okay but not great as well. You can get better tiramisu and salad in other places in Tainan.
