I really hope the food can be as good as the owner’s confidence.

The owner is too confident about their cooking, constantly telling customers that their noodle are the best in Taiwan. However, the truth is that the food are terrible. Some dishes lack flavor, while others are excessively salty.

Also, stop using a five-star review in exchange for free side dishes to manipulate ratings. The side dishes are really bad. The kelp strips are both sour and salty, so bad that I couldn’t even finish one bite . After eating, I almost felt like I needed dialysis.

Walked past this beef noodle shop of some age on a light drizzling afternoon. The shop is small but clean. The aroma of the beef soup stopped us in track. We had mixed beef noodle soup, beef stomach noodle & a cold dish (tofu with century egg). Their thick noodle has very good texture, chewy but not hard. The owner is pretty impressive. He knows a little bit of japanese and was nice enough to explain a bit with his knowledge (my wife is japanese and I speak japanese as well.)

I will admit I was a little skeptical when he claims his food is No.1, but I was thoroughly impressed. Everything was very delicious. I'd say give it a shot!
