Artisan coffee shop. Great coffee. Beans roasted on site. I love the entire experience. Came in after shopping at the market. Delicious double espresso using Colombian beans. He gave us a sample of pour over of Kenyan beans and a fermented cold brew. Wonderful. Awesome neighborhood joint. I come here weekly drinking brewed coffee from Sam. It's such a wonderful experience. This time we went and we tried Panama Geisha coffee, sun dried Ethiopian and Guatemala coffee. All pour over. Such delicious and complex coffee with a motley of flavors that is just incredibly special. What a treat to taste great coffee and in a great cafe. If you are in Taipei, this is a place you want to visit that is off the beaten path. You get great great coffee at an incredibly fair price. Sam, keep up the great work you are doing making Taipei so special.

This is one of those secrets you want to keep all to yourself. You know you’ve come across the right place for coffee when it is exclusively so. Unlike one of those hip locations with fancy desserts and free wifi set out to attract a young social crowd, this place is coffee and only coffee. The space is cozy and vintage, not the kind of fabricated vintage vibe that happened in a day, but the type of vintage where the space transformed over the years with carefully curated furniture, equipment and decor.

The owner is wonderful to chat with, especially if you’re a coffee enthusiast yourself. When you step in, you will feel that the space is his home, and he, the friend you didn’t know you wanted to visit.

The owner takes much pride in his hand-roasted geisha, which I would recommend trying at least once.

Just visited this cafe before we end our holiday last week. We have a wonderful time and few cups of great coffee. It was a wonderful experience that we dont have it in Singapore , no fancy decor but very cosy and homely kind of cafe.
