Poor judgemental attitude, rude behaviour... food was okay but it is obvious that first, one should behave well.... It was my first visit to any MIK, being new here in taiwan and I got a first feeling that this MIK branch doesn't need new customers.... I'll try other branches though.... want to taste Indian tea after idli sambhar (which I could not have here)... hope to receive better service ....
Thank you for your response and you proved first line of review, " the poor judgemental attitude". And your wording in the response proves my second point, "rude behaviour". Kindly check my Google profile i have been and I still use to go to the restaurants which also include the places that are much costlier than yours. It is not about money. It is about the tone with which the things were conveyed. And yes you have only read the comment not listened to my side of story. You can contact me if you really want to improve. Otherwise, yes you don't lack customers and I don't lack restaurants.
I was told a min charge before my order and obviously if I'm still sitting there then i can pay for it. It was about if min charge is 300 and I've ordered a poori worth 85 then anyone could have politely asked if i need something worth poori or in fact I have been to many hotels in india USA and UAE where they make a polite suggestions if someone is ordering something wrong or unusual, to add some side dishes. I was NOT SHARING with my friend as he ordered NON-VEG. and I'm VEGETARIAN. Again, that person, was already having this in mind that we are not going to spend any money. This is why I'm saying poor judgemental behavior. And ruckus was not at created me. In fact, I was expecting some friendly talk about the environment here. It was that person who was talking rude. If even after reading this much detail from me you can't figure out what kind of customer I'm then, of course, nothing can be done. At last, suppose someone had no money to eat in some restaurant, even then you should be polite enough to suggest him that you are not having anything less than this amount. There are several ways to convey this politlely. You should treat everyone well. It is not about the things they conveyed, it is about the way they conveyed. If you are still not convinced enough then my points are fair enough. Best...
Read moreI guess the owner doesn't know how to read Chinese, so out of professional courtesy, I am editing for English users, and to your comment, Not a Foodpanda driver, just a mad customer. There are human in a Kitchen doesn't mean an owner could excuse himself from his poor management causing the late delivery on a customer's request. If you cannot complete a request timely, don't take the request. Don't waste other's time.
You took a task that you couldn't fulfill timely and only received one 1-star commentary. I did my part paying, you didn't do your part delivering timely. I find myself being fair enough, no?
Lastly, grow up. Be independent and own your mistake. A failure is a failure. It is your customer's decision to whether show some empathy on you due to New Year's Eve. Yet, it's only a shame that you ran into me this time, who really doesn't have any patience after repeatedly receiving deceiving information (that the food is now wrapping, for consecutively 30 minutes). I rather receive a cancellation than kept on waiting on a meal that doesn't deliver on time and hits my schedule.
Your restaurant management style is stunningly ignorant. Being sarcastic all the time doesn't help you receive constructive feedback. I don't know if it helps my soul leaving 1-star commentary out of anger, but it surely won't help my soul if I just leave a self-deceiving 5-star comment just to fit your preference.
Hope you understand it's nothing personal, and I wish you the best running this restaurant. The food is not bad, but knowing how to make food is only step one of running a restaurant.

Read moreWe dined at Mayur Indian Kitchen; the location is convenient, close to the shopping area and Taipei 101. The street, though tranquil, is dimly lit. The exterior of the establishment may not make a strong impression, but inside, it is well-organized, albeit compact.
For starters, we ordered papadams, which were tasty, but the portion size left me surprised – it was notably small. We also tried the sweet coconut Naan, which, contrary to its name, was more of a bread with sweet cream. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend it; it lacked shredded coconut and a rich flavor.
Moving on to the main course, the basmati rice was disappointing, lacking any distinct flavor – unusual for Indian restaurants where basmati rice typically carries a delicious aroma and taste. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Punjabi Butter Chicken were flavorful and enjoyable, earning a 7 out of 10 rating.
For beverages, we ordered a mango lassi, which was genuinely good, but I found the portion size relatively small for its price.
Service was good, very educated personal.
General observations include a suggestion for more culturally fitting music (rather than Jazz), small and somewhat dirty restrooms that require handwashing outside among diners. Notably, during our visit, the chef went to the restroom, returned, and washed his hands without using soap.
While I might consider returning, it's not a place I would...
