When I came, there were several souvenir booths set up in the cafe. I’m not sure if they were permanent or just there for a special occasion. The café itself has a minimalist design with plenty of seating.
I had the Alishan sugar latte. I’m used to the kind of milk foam most cafés use, which tends to taste pretty similar everywhere, so I was pleasantly surprised by the version here. The foam—both from the milk and the coffee—had a firmer texture than usual, but it was still smooth and had a nice flavor. The coffee base seemed to be local Taiwanese coffee, which leaned toward a milder profile rather than strong or bitter. If you enjoy lattes, I’d definitely recommend trying this one.
I also tried the Panama Bouquet Lerida Lot #5 | Gesha (pour-over). According to the card, it was a washed process with tasting notes of lychee, peach, and orange juice. It was light and refreshing, and tasty.
The Caramel Pudding, on the other hand, wasn’t as smooth as I’d hoped—it had a slightly floury texture, and the caramel was a bit overcooked.
The Cold Brew and Matcha Milk were just average.

Read morePartner and I stumbled upon this quaint and cozy cafe while staying nearby during this year’s Taipei vacation and fell absolutely in love with them.
This cafe serves up very decent, high quality coffees/drinks that included a scent-sampling experience and delicate coffee wares.
The ambience is perfect - music volume is always at an appropriate level suited for quiet enjoyment or good conversations. The barista with a ponytail offers exemplary service - a gentle, helpful and informative approach that pairs very well with the cafe’s calming vibes.
There are multiple functions within this shared space and you can even take your time to browse through some meaningful and thoughtful souvenirs, or enjoy the photography exhibition upstairs.
We made this our daily morning ritual to start our days while we were here and 10/10 would return to visit...
Read moreI got here because I had a train to catch and it’s an early one, I badly needed a proper coffee. Past few days, I have been struggling to find good coffee that wows me — it’s been expensive overpriced coffee but usually the ratio of milk to coffee isn’t good, or beans are just typical. But I got here and first sip, I was blown away. A proper flat white done right, the beans roasted to my perfect taste and that woke me enough to want to go back again (I definitely will be!) :) they also have specialty beans and pour overs which I expect would be super good! Also had salted egg taro scone for snack which was a good combination, surprisingly.
Highly recommend for: quiet cafe, craft coffee near Taipei main station, best cafes near Taipei main station,...
