Second Floor 貳樓桃園華泰店 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

The food here is great, but I’m writing this review for the purposes of commending the terrific service this evening.

We were served by Sarah, and I could tell she genuinely cared about our dining experience from start to finish. Sarah was extremely attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. We ordered a spicy pasta. She noticed my toddler reaching for it and came over to kindly remind us that it was spicy. We requested for the juice to be served after our meal. Towards the end of our meal, Sarah took the initiative to come over and to tell us we still had a juice and to let her know when we’re ready for it.

The shift leader Winnie also came over to our table and said she overheard our kids asking us for balloons. She told us they didn’t have any extra balloons, but offered them stickers. We were not only taken by surprise, but extremely touched by this gesture. As we were paying for our meal, Winnie also offered our kids extra coloring sheets to bring home.

The staff at this establishment really went ABOVE and BEYOND this evening (November 26, 2023) to make our dining experience especially special...

I ordered a breakfast toast and the specialty burger, and each bite was a burst of flavors that showcased the quality of ingredients and the craftsmanship that goes into each burger. The juicy patties and fresh toppings were a testament to the kitchen's dedication to excellence.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our toast with mushrooms/potatoes/onions. we didn't find them to be groundbreaking, hence the four-star rating. They were delectable but didn't venture into...

The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, which I really appreciated. The bread platter and other dishes were also enjoyable.

Our server, Peugeot, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Despite the name "Second Floor Cafe," the restaurant is actually located on the third floor inside...
