Good Food Poor Service, server waited behind till playing on phone. Although everyone had been served, no one came to check on the diners for half an hour. If we had not gone to ask I may still be waiting for my Nanaimo Bar dessert. When it arrived it was fantastic in that the taste and texture were authentic. However it would have been better if not still frozen. Food overall deserves a five star rating. It was the service that caused me to downgrade to three. They charged a 10%service charge. Good food but service is extremely slow. It took 30 minutes for delivering my salad, 40 minutes for the burgers. Other than that, i ordered smoked salmon salad and was served calamari salad instead. Waitress should have repeated order if they are not sure. Other tables’ orders were served very slow too. I think Roots should only concentrate on selling clothes. I am very unhappy...

1 star for service.(One server was even sweeping while customers were still eating) 1 star for the prices. 2 stars for chicken spaghetti (chicken is too dry, noodle is too soft. Amount is for kid.
