TGI FRIDAYS Gloria Outlet Restaurant — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

Came here on a weekday evening for after shopping around the outlet at around 7:30. The place was pretty packed and we were seated fairly fast. The service and attitude from the waiter was also pretty good however things took a drastic turn when our food arrived. The salad that came first had brown leaves on around half of the order, the ribs are pretty good as well as the dessert.

In the middle of our course, one of the waiter suddenly brought half a roast chicken to our table saying it’s our order, I then use my fork to try some of the chicken resulting in the skin of the chicken being uneven we done even flapping out. We spoke with the waiter and apparently there is a mixup in which the chicken was meant for the table behind us. Without any hesitation he quickly pull his finger to his mouth and makes a shushing gesture and bring the whole chicken with the skin flapping down to the table behind us. I was mortified by his action and immediately spoke with the manager. The manager was acknowledges the seriousness of the waiters action however decided to talk to him right on the spot. I believe telling him after work would be better however she decided to tell him right away resulting in a very weird feeling for us throughout the rest of dinner.

I would definitely not visit again as this sort of standard and behavior is disgusting. Not only did the employees did not receive the proper training, the manager didn’t even apologize nor remove the chicken from the table behind us. I mean what if...

We had such a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, clean, and cozy, perfect for a relaxing and satisfying meal.

He was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. When our steak was not cooked exactly the way we wanted, he handled it with such grace and initiative, having it redone without hesitation, just to make sure it was exactly to our liking.
