What’s on the Menu? You can find traditional local Taiwanese dishes such as braised pork rice (滷肉飯), soy-stewed pork rice (爌肉飯), milkfish soup (虱目魚肚湯) and other side dishes such as fried tofu (油豆腐), braised cabbage (魯白菜), pork belly with garlic sauce (蒜泥白肉) and many mores.
What’s my favorite dishes? Braised pork rice bowl with oyster topping (蚵仔滷肉蓋飯) – where it consists of braised fatty (richly seasoned, cooked to an almost gelatinous texture and coated with a layer of sticky broth), steamed rice and enhanced with oyster on top. Well, all I can say - the dish is well cooked in a melt-in-your-mouth texture and simply irresistible! 😋😋😋😋😋
How’s the service provided? Overall, the level of service is great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Staff was helpful, attentive and somehow friendly. Note that you need place your order at counter and it will be served by the staff later.
Is there any seat available when you were there? Yes, but need to share table with other diners.
Is there a queue when you were there? Yes, waited for around 10 minutes before seated.
How’s the décor? Just like other local hawker stalls that give sense of the vibrant local lifestyle. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Is it convenient to travel to the place? Yes, it is about 9~10 minutes walking distance from Longshan Temple MRT Station(捷運龍山寺站)
Will I travel to here just for the food? Maybe, it is just too far from me to travel there. 😭
Will I visit the place when I am around? Yes, in my next visit to Taipei.
Final verdict: The braised pork rice tastes better than its famous neighbour...

Apart from these, the side dishes are remarkable, and the pork rib soup is outstanding, it directly reflect the sweetness of...
