This Japanese curry joint is located slightly off the beaten track of Ximending. The food was delicious but there are several things that could be improved.
The service was incredibly bad. Not only did the staff tell us the incorrect items on the menu, but the way we were spoken to was also unacceptable. For example, we were told repeatedly that there were only the pork and chicken options available. However what we were served was chicken and beef instead. We could only imagine how someone would feel if they could not consume beef for any reason.
At the end of the meal, we politely returned our bowls and cutlery to the counter but we were glared upon by the staff who very unhappily took them away from us after scoffing under their breath.
What really put us off was how one of the staff just took our cash and very rudely gestured for us to leave after payment. We were also not given a receipt even though we distinctively asked for it.
Hence, as much as the food was delicious, the overall experience left a sour taste...

Honestly liked the beef than the chicken though! Sausage is also surprisingly good! Giving this 5 stars because despite the 15 minute wait (because all tables are currently occupied), its worth trying. The servers are friendly too and very accommodating!
