Somebody Cafe — Restaurant in Wanhua District

I love this place! It is so beautiful and cozy inside, with artistic vibes. If you’re in Taipei in winter, you’ve probably noticed that 99% of places have no heat, leaving you shivering inside restaurants. Well this place is actually warm inside! The coffee is pretty good (lattes are 130, very reasonable price for this area). The food is delicious. And the staff is so friendly! Fast wifi! 35.4 Mbps download, 12.1 Mbps upload. A good place to work, as the tables are fairly spacious and this place actually provides plugs to every table area. They need to learn a thing or two about hospitality. First, you dont set a 2 hour limit at a cafe(unless you're a buffet restaurant - then it's understandable). People come to cafes to relax and wind down. Not have to watch the time with every bite - so if you plan to come here to read a book or relax, dont.

Second, breakfast menu should have a variety of items/choices. Here you only get a choice of 2(very highly priced) set menu.

Third, u cant make everyone purchase a meal if they dont want to. I came in to accompany a friend(I'd already had breakfast) but was told i need to order something because its the rule.. Or...

This cafe was a whole vibe! We decided on sharing the waffles. They were perfectly cooked and the creamy vanilla ice cream was a pleasant surprise. It is also served with crunchy honeycomb, chewy dried fruit, nutty clusters, in the honey and surrounding the plate. Every bite balances sweetness and crunch like a well-composed symphony. It’s a must try! They also serve coffee and teas. We decided to pair it with a peach iced tea and it was perfection.
