I visit Japan regularly and I reside in a city for superb world renowned Asian cuisine. I can say this restaurant is not authentic. Like the saying, you don't know what you don't know.

Tempura is a classic Japanese starter, yet at this establishment, the batter used is uncharacteristically dense and greasy, resembling pancake batter.

While combo prices are subject to change, it’s advisable to steer clear of the Tempura options here, as they do not meet the standards one would expect in downtown Taipei.

This is a restaurant that serves foods/dishes that are similar to Japanese set meals. There are lots of traditional Japanese dishes, such as tempura, steamed fish with rices, grilled fishes/meats, that are set with set side dishes and soup. Overall, the ingredients are fresh and very tasty. We had a good experience with all the set...

Good place for a traditional style Japanese meal. Good sides: steamed egg cup, salad, fried fish, pickles, fried chicken pieces, green vegetables and miso soup. Entrees are good too; grilled pork, salmon, mackerel, beef, chicken. Lots of variety.
