The Chips 信義店 — Restaurant in Xinyi District

I’d been wanting to try this place for years and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Crazy Burger and the White Wine Clam sauce Pasta. I thought the pasta tasted fine but my daughters said it tasted too fishy, but come on what did you expect from clams? The burger was delicious. Big patty covered in mushrooms, onions, cheese, pastrami (perhaps), toasted bun, bit of veg, and some kind of tasty bbq sauce. The menu says it is 12 ounces which sounds more impressive than it is. I thought it was going to be huge but shame on me for not doing the math. But like I said, this is a good tasting burger so try for yourself. There’s also a caramelized grapefruit which was surprisingly cold but still quite tasty. This place is comfortable and definitely worth a try. We called a chips with truffle sauce (8/10, the sauce not as good as i want, a bit salty but acceptable), spicy Gnocchi with fried chicken (8/10, the chicken is a bit small, but the sauce is nice, spicy, a bit sour and cheesy, i will try another sauce next time), and the last one is burger (10/10), which is the best one in our meal, you must try this type of burger, the sauce was absolutely addicted to us.

About the view you can see Taipei 101, Grand Hyatt Hotel in front of you with the window seat, i love the view.

Not a good experience to say the least. The food was mediocre (risoto was good, lasagna and hamburger weren't) and the waiters were nice for a while untill the time we asked for dessert- at this point we were told that because we are sitting at the table for 1:15hrs we do not have time for dessert because we need to leave the table after 1:30hrs.
