We tried the new menu, cotton candy sukiyaki which includes several kind of Wagyu. The photo of the Wagyu is for 3 people. The quality of the Wagyu is good. However, the service need to be improved.
We’re seated in the bbq area which looks cheap and is different with previous experience. The waitress said the area is for bbq and cotton candy sukiyaki. We’re surprised due to she didn’t even ask us what do we wanna order although we did came for it. The seat is pretty low with the high table. In 1.5 hrs, we need to stand up for cooking the meat which looks stupid. And during the time, no one is coming to refill the water. We have to do it by ourselves and they charge 10% service fee. I don’t know why the service is totally different with our previous experience. If the reason is that we didn’t order the high price menu for this time, i will definitely not come again. Come on! It’s about 1700/person which doesn’t deserve this service quality.
Also, in the introduction on their FB, this menu includes the cotton candy DIY but the truth is that they use the cotton candy decorated beside the table ( don’t know how long has it kept there.....) Be honest, I feel upset for...
Read moreThis restaurant did not disappoint. I had heard of the good reviews for this particular wagyu beef restaurant and after experiencing it myself, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
From the quality of the food, to the great customer service, all aspects of this restaurant were top-notch. The price is on the higher side, but that’s to be expected with this level of quality and attention to detail.
The meat was mouth-watering delicious and you can truly taste the delicious flavors and layers of wagyu beef. Each cut of meat is explained and cooked in front of you, delivering a savory, fresh taste that will surely make meat-craving taste buds satisfied. The meat is that good. In particular, the “World’s End” dish or “世界的盡頭” is truly one of the best cuts of wagyu beef I have ever eaten. Combine that with the extremely friendly and great customer service provided (thank you to Audrey for fantastic service!) you get a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere and presentation are not lacking either, which can be shown in the pictures. All in all, this is truly one of the finest wagyu beef restaurants in all of Taipei.
Give it a try, you won’t be...
Read moreSome staff speak English. They are friendly and serve us very well.
They have sukiyaki and bbq set. We took the Sukiyaki set, the most pricey is A5 sirloin, NT 6800 for 2 people.
The appetizer came with salmon and scallops with edamame sauce. The salmon was medium cooked, juicy and the tasted so good. Then the raw sukiyaki coming, they cooked the sukiyaki in front of us (beware your hair and clothes will all smelled like sukiyaki!). Before doing the sukiyaki they grilled a small piece of beef and the fat to smear the sukiyaki pan. The matsuzaka beef is great!!! Once smeared, the chef pour the “Japanese sugar” and the beef, with sukiyaki sauce. The vegetables will be eaten later, so we cud really taste the good of their beef.
Ohya, they also served a good quality rice and sake! I feel like everything is si perfect here. And the surprise is... they served the last piece of meat with Truffle! Wow! Then we got another surprise.. Oyakodon at the end of course before desert. Gosh we’re so fulllll.. but everything was so delicious we didn’t want to miss anything.
Last but not least, the desert has a real sakura...
