I've been here 4-5 times since they opened, and in the past, they had good burgers and one of the better milkshakes in Taipei. But after my last visit in September 2025, the extremely noticable drop in the quality of their burgers and milkshakes pushed me to leave this review.

I ordered the Char Siu Burger (something new I tried this time), the Jalapeño burger (something I've had before), and their caramel milkshake.

The char siu burger was actually pretty good. I'd give it 4/5. The meat was tender and flavored well.

The jalapeño burger did not taste as good as it did in the past. It tasted like they didn't even season the burger because the flavor was overpowered by the egg they put on it. I don't know how the flavor of an egg overpowers a burger patty. The bacon was still tasty though. 3/5

But the most disappointing drop in quality though was their milkshake. I would call what I drank today a caramel slushie more than a milkshake. There was way too much ice in it for it to be considered a milkshake. I want there earlier this year (I can't remember when but it would have been before March) and it was still a solid milkshake. Now you can barely taste the caramel and the consistency was just not what a milkshake should be. Very disappointing. 1/5

I understand that people may not have their best days when working every now and then, soI will go back to try it again, but if the quality doesn't improve back to where it was, I might have to take this restaurant off from my list of places to go for a good burger and milkshake. I am writing this for a PSA: the garlic special fries’ dipping sauce taste like stinky tofu. It was surprising for me but in a good way. If you wanna taste stinky tofu but you are scared of it, try this 🤌

I got the milk caramel burger with special garlic fries. Fries were like 80NTD, burger was 220NTD. I think overall meal was yummy, but price wise for Taiwan is too much for me. Honestly just came here because a friend saw this on an Instagram reel lmao. The garlic fries tasting like stinky tofu was a surprising plus, but I’m not paying 80NTD for that amount of fries man. I went to the restaurant during the soft opening and ordered a bacon beef burger and fries (w/ garlic dipping sauce). Tasty bun, crispy bacon, flavours sautéed onion, and savoury sauce. Loved the fries and dipping sauce. However, the burger itself falls short of expectation. The patty, served at 3oz, was dry and overbooked. The texture of the patty brought down the entire experience. This place is supposed to offer same tasty burger at lower price point than its big cousin Butcher Lanpengyou. However the overall execution is underwhelming at best.
