Nancy Hotpot — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Very nice and price-worthy steamboat place! Was recommended by local friend and we made a reservations for our meet ups! They have minimum spending such that an adult a set and kids TWD150 which is reasonable. We ordered the minimum as required and when the dishes were served, we were shocked to see the amount of food! There are total of 7 meats consisting 3 pork, 3 beef and 1 wagyu... together with 1 plate of prawns+fish, 3 sides and 3 big plates of vegetables! We managed to finished the meats but left 2 big plates of vegetables which my Taiwanese friend pack home instead! 😅

One thing bad about this place is that they have a 1.5hrs dining time (from the time you walk in) and including taking orders. To us, it's a bit too rush to enjoy the lovely food as we literally rushed through out dinner.

I think the management should consider a longer dining time especially for groups more than 3-4 pax. Hope that my next visit to Taiwan and here...

Wow, das ist ein Restaurant, das ich sehr empfehlen kann. Es sollte vorher definitiv ein Tisch reserviert werden. Man hat dann 90 min Zeit ein Hotpot zu genießen. Die Zeit hört sich knapp an, aber es passte genau. Wir durften dennoch 30 min länger sitzen, da noch nicht alle Tische besetzt waren. Die Auswahl der Zutaten hat uns leicht überfordert, so haben wir die Wahl unseren Gastgebern überlassen. Da wir ein Geburtstagskind dabei hatten, gab es einen Milchtee mit einem Hund als Deko im Getränk. Sehr Originell! Noch dazu bekamen wir als Geschenk einen riesigen Teller mit Garnelen. Der gewählte Schweinefleischteller wurde als 2 Rosen garniert und mit Rauch serviert. Es sah nicht nur toll aus, es war fantastisch! Der Gemüseteller mit Pilzen und Fischbällchen war mehr als ausreichen. Zu der gewählten Milch-Suppe für den HotPot gab es einen sehr süßen Teddy, der in die kochende Milch gestellt wurde. Ich glaube es war gefrorener Schmelzkäse, denn die Suppe hat danach geschmeckt. Sie war schmackhaft aber nicht zu streng. Die Kellner waren auch sehr aufmerksam und haben sofort die leeren Teller abgeräumt. Getränke konnten frei Haus selbst gezapft werden. Es gab Cola, Sprite, Eistee und Slush-Getränke. Zum Nachtisch konnte man sich an der Selbstbedientheke sein Wunscheis zusammenstellen. Sämtliche Zutaten waren frisch und sehr lecker! Es wurde darauf geachtet, dass alle Zutaten dekorativ und sehr ansehnlich angerichtet waren. Das war mit Abstand das beste HotPot-Restsurant was ich besucht habe! You have to order one set of pork/beef per person. What we didn’t know was that they also gave you yet another 2 sets of pork/beef for free, so that was truly a lot of meat. Each set also comes with a plate of vegetables and fishballs. The milk broth was interesting, but definitely you would need a more normal broth to eat for the rest of the meal.
