Thai Town Cuisine - Taipei Nanxi Mitsukoshi Store — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Food is very nice, Thai Town is always one of my favorite Thai restaurants🧡

However, yesterday one of our friends booked the table for 5, 2 of us arrived the restaurant on time. I told the reception with our reservation info, she told us the reservation had been canceled...she let us wait outside of the restaurant for over 15 mins without keeping checking if there was any misunderstanding, also told us to wait until all other people arrive so she would find us a table...this service shocked me very much as Thai Town was never like this before! When my friend arrived, the receptionist suddenly said there was a table reserved, I asked her why she let 2 of us waited outside, she only said it was a mistake....very UNFORGETTABLE answer...

Again, food is really good, but this receptionist organization needs to be improved as her service was very unhelpful and...

This must be the worst experience I’ve ever had among Thai Town restaurants. The staff needs further training.

They don’t take away empty dishes. They just let out pile up. Staff obviously saw the empty glass and yet I had to buzz them for refill. The other table dropped the lid of the rice pot, the staff didn’t proactively approach to check (she had to be called). The worst, the long-haired female staff was arranging her long tresses while asking what the customer needs!

Decent selection of staple Thai dishes but I can’t say it’s got an authentic flavour. A lot more spicy dishes on the menu. Service is good, always checking on our table and for $49, u get as much rice as you want but if you’re a small rice eater, not worth it. Upon ordering more dishes, they told us the kitchen was already closed. We hadn’t been informed which was disappointing as we wanted to try a couple...
