A cozy, charming gem in the heart of 華山文創園區!

After wandering through the creative and artsy vibes of 華山, we stumbled upon Spot Café Lumière (光點珈琲時光) — and it turned out to be the perfect retreat. Tucked within the cultural park, the café offers a warm and inviting space, ideal for a relaxing afternoon break.

They have a great variety of food, drinks, desserts, and cakes, all beautifully presented. We ordered their yam layered crepe cake, and it was amazing! Rich, earthy yam flavour perfectly balanced with smooth cream between the layers — it’s a must-try for yam lovers.

We also enjoyed their milk tea, which was smooth and comforting. However, the floral tea (jasmine rose with longan honey) was a bit underwhelming — it had a very subtle honey note and light rose aroma, but the jasmine flavour was barely noticeable. It ended up tasting like lightly infused water, so that’s an area they might want to improve.

Service was friendly, and the overall ambiance was calm, stylish, and cozy — perfect for an afternoon tea, a quiet chat, or simply recharging after exploring.

It's a pleasant little cafe attached to a movie theatre. The menu is kind of small, and there were not many wait staff when I visited on a Thursday afternoon but it is OK. The place is designed to be a relaxing rest stop for artsy people anyway. I met with a friend. We ordered a sake-draft beer mix and a Chinese tea, and we sat for two hours. No one rushed us and we easily had a deep conversation here without shouting. Both items we ordered were flavorful. I could also smell food in the air, and hear light music, too. I came to Taiwan for business this time, and I always visit the Huashan Creative Park to relax. There is a café here that I always stop by for a break.
