Review of Suda - Thai & Vegetarian Restaurant
I recently dined at Suda - Thai & Vegetarian Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family.
We started with the Ginger Fish, which was beautifully prepared. The combination of fresh ginger and perfectly cooked fish created a harmonious flavor that was both aromatic and satisfying. Next, we tried the *Peppered Fish *. These were fryed to crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. They were a hit at our table!
The Papaya Salad was a refreshing addition that paired wonderfully with the dishes. Its bright and zesty flavors added a nice contrast and enhanced the overall meal.
To top it off, we ordered the Coconut Smoothie, and it was simply the best! Creamy, refreshing, and not overly sweet, it was the perfect drink to complement our meal.
Overall, Suda offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend trying their ginger fish and don’t miss out on the...
Read moreThe food was average at best.
Service was nice, but scattered.
The “Lightly Fried” gyoza were FULLY fried and greasy (nothing like the menu depicted). Not good.
The Pad See Ew are supposed to have stir fried wide rice noodle (according to the menu). What we got were cheap thin ramen noodles. The dish was average.
The stir fried Yellow Noodles again came with the same cheap ramen noodles, nothing yellow about them. Flavor was so-so.
The Spicy Noodles were not spicy and were light on the shrimp. It came barely lukewarm and swimming in sauce and loads of raw onion, another so-so dish.
Honestly, I was duped by the high scores, but as another reviewer mentioned, they pay for reviews. They have table tents with a QR code, if you leave a good review they will give you a free mango sticky rice dessert.
Don’t be fooled, this is just another tourist restaurant with...
Read moreI initially left 5 stars, but now it's time for an honest review. First of all, I despise places that trick you into giving them 5 stars, now it all makes sense why the reviews are so high (they offer you free mango sticky rice if you give them 5*). That's deception. Anyway: I ordered seafood khao soi and it wasn't even that bad, but there were a bunch of flaws: a billion weird calamari but only 2 shrimps, the onions were the wrong kind, no authentic herbs that you would usually find in Thai cuisine and also no chiang mai noodles, only friend noodles throughout the whole dish. So it's good for stereotypical tourists, but not someone like me who sees through all of that. The curry itself wasn't actually that bad but for the price it's not worth it. The mango sticky rice was solid so it is a shame they try to...
