Nice quiet spot tucked away in an alley off the road. The owner & his wife were very quick to welcome my wife & I who were the only two there at the time. They even made me pad see ew though I don’t think it was even on the menu so that was really awesome of them as it was my first actual Thai meal in Thailand.

We sat & listened to the good music for a bit after finishing our food then went inside the spacious bar area & paid. The owner told us he was expecting his first child & was very excited. He & my wife talked for a second about how his mom is from the same area where my wife served for two years in peace corps.

This is the perfect laid back place to come and relax as you enjoy some drinks. It immediately gives off that “where everybody knows your name” feeling. There was a man and woman working there together who I believed to be the owners. They were both so incredibly kind. The man was quick to make your drink and serve you with a smile. He offered up bug spray, ashtrays, and the option to choose the music (which we happily took him up on). The woman was extremely kind and catering to us as well. You could see that it was important to them that we were comfortable and happy. I’m here for the month and want to try different places but it’s difficult to not keep...
