Chang Phueak Mu Kratha — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

A friendly bartender in Bangkok recommended me this place. It’s really a local restaurant with Thai food and almost 0 tourists. It’s confusing in the beginning but you quickly get how it works. First you need to take a queue number and wait for the table. Then you take whatever you want from the buffet and start to grill. You can set the fire as you like and wait until the food is cooked properly.

I was there with my family on October 1st, 2023. It was 199 Baht per person and 100 Baht per child under 120 cm. It was local barbeque buffet including soft drink with unlimited time. If you get there after 6 p.m., queue number should be taken from the counter. We arrived there at 6.30 p.m. and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated at the table. I love this place. Only thing that I do not like is waiting but, it could assure how yummy it is. I have one tip for you. Once you arrive, get the ticket at the counter inside first(They have a lot of customer there, they will not know that you have ticket or not, you have to take care of yourself). Furthermore, you could make a reservation by phone before your arrival. It would help you get the table faster. This place does not limit the time of each customer strictly.
