Tum Yum Changphuak — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Super fun atmosphere lots of neon signs and lights popping off all the art and pictures on the walls look fresh n popping well lit inside sitting area is open air on both sides making it nice a comfortable, we stumble onto it by fluke trying to find a last min spot that looked good and man did they really out do themselves with the entire restaurant, drinks and food much beyond a fair price really cheap prices for such a killer menu everything we had was amazing 👏 and we got it super spicy but I asked the owner to turn up the heat a little more for me next visit. We had the cockle salad, sundried pork, grilled pork, deep fried mushrooms, pork liver salad and chicken wings. The cockle salad was super fresh not strong smell of shellfish whatsoever it was top notch and the spicy pork liver was excellent aswell, it all was. I was shocked by how large or portions came on every plate at that low of prices, drinks were super fair too and they have a good selection of soju flavors too. Food all came fast hot and crispy, staff and owner were very kind and friendly. The owner of this spot really goes above and beyond woth it all. I loved the menu layout nice clear pictures simple clean writing not to overwhelming to look at but still I think over 50 items on the menu. Definitely up there now with my favorite restaurants in the old city...

I wish I could leave a 0 star review. Came here to eat but left with abuse being shouted at us by the blonde guy with tattoos (probably the manager).

I went to use the bathroom to wash my hands before eating but they didn't have soap, so I left without using the bathroom. Upon handing the menu back, the rude manager shouted F words at us and wouldn't even listen to my reason. I even offered to pay for walking to the bathroom.

You clearly didn't get much love as a child or just have a weird power trip by being a manager of a restaurant. Just get some therapy before you project onto other people again you...

We had an incredible dining experience at Tum Yum Chang Phueak in Chiang Mai. From the moment we stepped in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff were outstanding. The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic Thai dishes, each bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and the green curry - both were cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its traditional Thai decor, added to the overall charm and made our evening even more special. A must-visit for anyone looking to savor the best of Thai cuisine...
