Grill Jung Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I just visited this place last night after having seen it many times but never going in. The meats and other ingredients used in this buffet grill are very fresh and offer a wide variety. My favorites were the Australian beef brisket and yakitori, which I ordered several times. The fresh squid and salmon aburi sushi were also extremely nice. However, the desserts were not to my taste. We chose the 569 THB option, and I was pleasantly surprised that this price included all taxes and service charges. I would also like to compliment the staff for their excellent and swift service.

Additionally, I appreciated their exhaust smoke system that plugs directly into the grill pan. It effectively prevented smoke from escaping, ensuring our clothes didn’t pick up any grill...

Normal price for a seafood buffet but compared to fresh seafood this shop is expensive. The scallop is very small same as squid. But the worst thing of this is the lobster i paid for 299THB extra. they asked how would you like to bake with. With butter or chesee i like cheese so i order a lobster baked with cheese. Wait about 30min to be served. The look is beautiful i ate the body part first lobster meat is so chewy like i am chewing a rubber the taste lobster 30% pesto 70% and the head part is the worst of all = 40% pesto taste 60% garlic taste =100% no losbter taste at all. I came here solo at 6 PM for the first time. When I tried to order the buffet, I was refused, the server explaining to me that after 5 PM, solo customer could only order A la Carte. There were info nowhere telling me this before in any of the reviews nor the website. That was a bummer because I walked 2 km to get here and I was really hungry. I decided to leave without ordering and try to return with my girlfriend next time.
