Rock Me Burger — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Seriously good. Will definitely satisfy your hankering for a juicy grilled burger.

They have tons of different options on their menu, Japanese inspired ones, Korean inspired, but most of their menu is definitely American- the South to be exact.

In addition to burgers, there’s buttermilk fried chicken, biscuits, loaded fries, mac n cheese.

Also some Thai dishes that looked really nice (grilled steak rice!) good selection of pastas- some classic Italian ones and some more Thai inspired ones.

On the healthier side they also have some salads! Another day I’d love to try the French style duck confit salad.

Also good selection of cocktails, milkshakes and desserts.

The 2 of us shared 🍔a beef burger with truffle sauce, bacon, caramelised onion, mushroom, and cheese. 🍗 a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw, perfect fried egg, and maple bacon 🧀 skillet mac n cheese topped with meatballs

Both sandwiches came with some fries, a pickle spear, and an onion ring.

The great: Chicken was flavorful dark meat. Burger was just perfect- juicy medium with crisp bits on the outside from a proper grill. Bacon was crispy and tasty. Mac n cheese was delicious- not super saucy, but with plenty of gooey cheese broiled on top, good flavor. For me I absolutely love and prefer this “drier” style of mac n cheese but for true home grown southerners, it might miss the mark. Oh and the savory meat juice from the meatballs on top mixing in with the mac was just chefs kiss

The okay: I didn’t love the onion rings, the batter is quite thick. More like an onion doughnut- tasty but too heavy for me. The fries were fine, I ate all of them, but they are thick crinkle cut ones which just aren’t my fav.

If I lived in Chiang Mai, this place would definitely be one of my go to’s. Honestly rivals any great...

This place is soooo close to 5 stars for me. It's very good, a nice western respite for travelers who have been indulging in Thai food.

Burgers in Thailand can be an adventure, especially if you're an American who grew up on the variety we enjoy. It's rare to find something here that genuinely compares to what we're used to back home.

That said, Rock Me Burger does a lot of things very, very well. The service is outstanding, the menu is cool and creative, there are fantastic drink options, it's fast, seating is comfortable, everything is clean, there's live music, and the food is very good. There's really nothing bad about the place.

I've only had beef burgers here, so I can't speak to the quality of other dishes. But typically, if a restaurant here does well with beef burgers, their other choices will be even better. Beef is the hard one for Thais.

And that's why I'm at 4 stars instead of 5. The burgers are good, but not great. I can think of a dozen or so places that can beat them in northern Thailand with just a bit more American authenticity.

That said, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed with the experience here. Perfect American-grade burgers aren't necessarily the point. This place has a distinctive Thai twist on western food. And that's fast more interesting than another...

For burger lovers this could be a good option directly in downtown, the place is nice, modern and clean. Either you choose to sit inside or outside you will be able to enjoy a good burger and many things more including beer and cocktails.

In the menu you will find the standard cheese burger but as well they have a different and original options for burgers and hotdogs of course don’t forget stakes.

The staff is friendly and they speak acceptable English, so no problems to communicate and get what you would like to have.

If you are coming with a group of friends I think you would like to enjoy a good meal and place.

I think the price is according to what you get, good food! The quality is good.

You have the option as well to sit in front of the grill and check how your food will be grilled.

Don’t forget to check out for the specials like special burgers, some of them will take a little longer to be prepared.
