Hands down the best place for breakfast or brunch in Chiang Mai – whether you’re into Western-style or Thai-style breakfasts, this spot has it all. We ate here almost every day during our two-week stay in Chiang Mai, and honestly, we would’ve kept coming for another two weeks if we’d stayed longer! Some personal favorites: the Sunset Avo, the Stir-Fried Thai Basil with Chicken (one of the best I’ve had in all of Thailand!), the Banana Pancakes and the huge variety of fresh juices and smoothies – you can mix and match any combo you like. They’re happy to make them without added sugar or with an extra protein powder if you want. Prices are unbeatable, the service is super friendly, fast, and they’re always happy to help with special requests. Seating is limited, so if there’s no spot right away, I definitely recommend waiting – it’s 100% worth it! And if you’re in a hurry, grab a juice or smoothie to take away, but don’t forget to come back later! 😉

SukiShake Café is a great opportunity to drink nice fruit smoothies and yummy food for a reasonable price nearby Tapae Gate. The menu is diverse with a lot of delicious options and there's a good place to have seat while enjoy your order and the street view of Chiang Mai. And Suki is the very charming owner of the Café which will please your taste. The fact that she speaks English fluently makes it easy to order without language barrier and also you might have the opportunity for a nice conversation with her. Suki is willing to give you a satisfying culinary experience. Check that place out. I came already many times and it worths it 😊

The food is nice and the prices are decent. However, I’ve been twice here and both times the stuff we’re talking in a very intense way, that felt quite stressful but the peak point was when they asked me to pay for the black paper that has fallen down from my table. The tables are small and not always have enough space. Never been to a place where I will be asked for such a thing. And after I asked them to remove the rest of the set as I don’t want to pay for it if it fells down I was lectured how all restaurants have these salt and pepper sets. Nice that there is Gluten and Diary free pancakes option

I had a bad experience here. We write down our orders on paper. There was a miscommunication and increase on the bill due to what I perceive as confusing English on the menu. When I explained my view to the staff, the manager became very angry and refused to acknowledge a possible miscommunication. I've never seen a Thai person this angry in public. It was very embarrassing. The 60 baht difference on the bill was no big deal, and I said I'd pay. But I won't return due to the angry and dismissive attitude of the manager. If you're running a restaurant in a language that's not your native tongue, maybe have a touch of humility if there's a difference in understanding with a...
