i stumbled across this lovely place by accident today. and i was so glad i had found it. it was in the middle of black out in the area so i sat outside and ordered chicken soup and ratatouille came with it as a side dish. both chicken soup and ratatouille was amazing-they also offered me a basket of baguettes. - a very homey food that you can tell it had made with a long hours of efforts. since it was a blackout, they put some candles for me in the restroom and probably they used candles to prepare for the food in kitchen too, i guess. later the light was back, they all helped me out moving inside the restaurant with AC - it was 34 degree outside- even the owner was helping me. inside the restaurant, i felt like i had teleported to some other part of world. maybe some restaurant in the little Italy in SF or a bistro in some part of Europe. it has the timeless décor with cute antique lightings and posters with jazz music. if i was not in almost food comma status-the bread was so good and the portion of ratatouille-the sidedish- was almost a size of main dish in other restaurant-, i would have tried their dessert too, it all looks so yummy. they also offered me a petite chocolate mousse at the end. staff and owner were so kind and it has a lovely garden.- it was an experience i was not expected in the middle of old town in CM. A must try if you are into quality food with a lovely ambience. -i think also the food almost cured me from the sickness i had for the fast few days. Merci...
